Usability in the terms of board games is where to extent to which the game can be played by anybody to have fun. The interaction is effectiveness between the players playing. "The board game excerise" that Jason Schkler was talking about he said that for this exercise you should tell how the game works. You should also explain the rules all the rules even the rules that need to be changed the reason for this is so you can take all your information and make one solid rules sheet. Also explain how your pieces and board help or don't help in the game. This is actually really helpful to know because when we making our card games I feel like these things would have helped us more. Like, when we sat down to talk about our game we didn't focus on that we were more concern with what theme we were going to. How we going to make all these cards and ect but if we would have sat down and discussed this it would have been really helpful. When Jason was talking about making videos when playing video games it's crazy because I did youtube videos for a summer. So, I only did it for two months but I will say that he said he only made 2 videos in a day. Two videos in a day is a lot because each video that a content creator puts out is hours and hours on the editing for the video. I wanted to touch on this because I did it it is very hard to do that drop 2 videos a day even the most famous content creators don't even do that. So I wanted to shine light on that because thats impressive because like I said you are going through hours and hours of editing. I'm so excited to make my first board game and after to listening to Jason Schklar he has given me good advice for going forward through this. I want to see what we can do and just see how the game comes out and listen to the feedback so we can make the changes. Your audiences feedback is so critical in my opinion because they are the people that are playing your game. They out of all people would know how to make the game better. Also just having an open mind with these type of projects is very key. You don't have to listen to everything but at least discuss somethings. Because if I've learned anything is that the people in our game design class they really want everyone game to be the best nobody wants to see you fail. So i have taken that and just trying to be more open-mined. sorry I ranted but i'm excited to see what our group can come up with.
